Peer review procedure

At Iberoamericana Vervuert we pay special attention to the scientific rigor of the works we publish to maintain the high quality to which we are committed. All works undergo a peer review.

Book proposals are evaluated by an expert or a member of the scientific committee of the collection where the book best fits. If the result is positive, a second expert in the field receives the complete manuscript and writes an evaluation. If the publication of the book is recommended in this assessment, then it will be accepted.
