Peer review procedure

• Throughout the publishing process, each project is chaperoned by one of our copy editors. We carefully check data and content, organize the production process according to schedule, including coordinating reviews, if needed.
• The vast majority of our books are published within the context of series, for which the series’ editors evaluate and decide whether or not works are accepted. If a work is neither a doctoral or professorial dissertation (where content quality is ensured through the required examiner’s reports), nor suggested as part of our established series by the respective editors, then the minimum requirement is that the author/s is/are part of our acquainted pool of authors, usually from at least one previous publication project.
• wbv Publikation will only host works for which there is sufficient evidence that the content fulfills the standards of scientific integrity and has been submitted to the review standards in its respective field.
